Houston Illini Club Tailgate Party What: Let’s start the season off with food, fun and fellowship before Illinois opens the 2026 football season against UAB! All Illinois alumni, families and friends are welcome.

When: Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 7:15 PM

Where:
City Plaza Town Square
2299 Lone Star Drive
Sugar Land, Texas 77479

Food & Beverages: Bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Bring your favorite beverages.

Pool & Grilling: Grills are available poolside. Feel free to bring your swimsuit and towel for a swim.

Parking: Garage parking on the 5th floor. Take the elevator down to the first floor. Follow the signs to the clubhouse.

After the Tailgate: At 7:15 PM, walk across the street to Little Woodrow’s to watch Illinois take on UAB in the season opener.
