VOLUNTEER WITH HOUSTON ILLINI AT THE HOUSTON FOOD BANK ON SATURDAY, JUNE 20 AT 8 AM!

What: The Houston Illini are helping Greater Houston with another Houston Food Bank service project! With your guests, join with other Houston Illini volunteers as we help at the Houston Food Bank on Saturday, June 20 at 8 am! Spread the news with your friends and family, all of whom are invited!

How: All Illini and guests are required to register in advance with the Houston Food Bank.

When: Saturday, June 20 at 8 am (to Noon.)

Where: Houston Food Bank, 535 Portwall St, Houston, TX 77029 (on your way, groove to our 🎶!)

Notes: 

1. CLOSED-TOE SHOES REQUIRED - casual dress, long pants (preferred), t-shirt with sleeves.  Bring work gloves if desired. We will be working indoors.

2. Duties vary with the makeup volunteers for shift. Most of the projects at the indoors warehouse involve inspecting, sorting, and repackaging of donated food items for community distribution.

3. Volunteer support is critical to Houston Food Bank's mission of food for better lives. You will have an enjoyable and positive experience with other Houston Illini and their families and friends.
