• Year of Illinois graduation: 1982
• Favorite UI Memory: Teaching undergraduates. Also, my brother was an underclassman and would have dinner at my apartment on Sunday nights (no dorm food).
• Favorite Place on Campus: Illini Union.
• Favorite Illini athlete: Chief Illiniwek (OK, not really an athlete, but he was the best part of Illinois football).
• Favorite class at Illinois: Bands
• Favorite UIUC Bar/Restaurant: Kam’s (I remember being carded and being told I was “the oldest man here”!)
• Moved to Houston: 1981 (late December)
• What brought you to Houston: Work (Dow Chemical in Freeport)
• Favorite things About Houston: Generally warm people, generally warm climate. Reasonable cost of living.
• Favorite places in Houston: CAPS, lots of restaurants. The Astrodome and Astroworld, back in the day.
• Occupation: Chemist, Quality Assurance Manager
• Something special about me: I write marches (about 50 so far). I have over 25,000 comic books, dating back to 1938.
