- Something special about me: I am running for Mayor of Houston. I came to America with only bag full of books, a handful of clothes and few dollars in my pocket. America has given me beyond my imagination, for which I am so grateful! I have made a commitment since 1984 to give back to American society as a family, and in my private and public life.
