• Favorite Place on Campus: Tennis courts. Any time I wasn’t in the lab, I was trying to improve my tennis game.
• Favorite Illini athlete: Men’s 2005 basketball team that made it to the final four
• Favorite class at Illinois: Advanced organic chemistry
• Favorite UIUC Bar/Restaurant: Zorba’s for gyros, which unfortunately has closed since I was there. I’m also a big fan of Murphy’s Irish nachos and Jarling's for their Custard Snowstorms

• What brought you to Houston: I accepted my first job out of grad school at Dow and still work at the company today.
• Favorite things About Houston: Diversity of food, people, parks and things to do
• Favorite places in Houston: Houston zoo, Miller Outdoor Theater, BCN restaurant and Anvil bar.
• Occupation: Sr R&D Manager, Dow
• Something special about me: I lead a Sustainability R&D group and develop innovation strategies that focus on recycling plastic waste and trying to Close the Loop for a positive impact on the environment.
