Online Cooking Class: DIY Appetizers

Join us virtually with our host, fellow Illini Bethany Storey (Food Science & Human Nutrition, '11) of Ms. Bethany’s School of Cooking for a cooking class and happy hour event on Saturday, March 27!

We are pleased to host fellow Illini Bethany Storey (Food Science & Human Nutrition, '11) of Ms. Bethany’s School of Cooking for a cooking class and happy hour event on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 3:00 - 4:00pm.

During this class, Bethany will guide participants through the prepping and cooking of two appetizers: 1) Pomegranate Salsa with Tortilla Chips and 2) Fig & Olive Tapenade with Crostini (yummy, toasted baguette). After the lesson, participants are welcome to mingle while enjoying the food they prepared.

The whole family is invited! Pre-registration is required, and the price is $25 per family. Sign up here where you will also find a list of ingredients that should be purchased prior to the class. The Zoom classroom link and passcode will be emailed to participants 24 hours before the event. Space is limited! Profits from this event will be donated directly to our Houston Illini Scholarship Fund!
